Helping each other can make world better

Rwanda has made remarkable progress in national health outcomes over the past decade. Yet, significant gaps remain in sexual and reproductive health (SRH) for women, adolescent girls, and marginalized communities.
Women's Health Foundation was established in February 2026 to close these critical gaps. We were born out of the Women's Health and Fertility Clinic, serving as its community outreach and advocacy arm. Our focus is simple: taking essential medical services beyond clinic walls and directly into underserved communities across Rwanda.
Barriers such as geographic isolation, financial hardship, social stigma, and limited health infrastructure continue to leave millions without access to the care they need. WHF exists to break down these barriers and build pathways to health equity.

Our Vision

A Rwanda where every woman, girl, and adolescent has equitable access to quality healthcare and the opportunity to live a healthy and productive life.

Our Mission

To improve health and wellbeing through community-based health programs, research, advocacy, capacity strengthening, and strategic partnerships that promote equitable access to quality healthcare.
